To commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Vimy Ridge and celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday ~
Join Trees for 3 Dots Planting Inc. (T43D) for the first planting of a Veterans Memorial Gardens™ (VMG) at Hillcrest Public School in London, Ontario as part of the Vimy Ridge Commemorative Tree Planting program (VRCTP) and Sesquicentennial Celebration Tree Planting program (SCTP).
|WHO:||The Hillcrest VMG is sponsored by the Canadian Institute for Management (London Chapter) and implemented in partnership with Hillcrest Public School.
|WHAT:||The planting of ten (10) large-caliper maple trees and a garden will provide a venue for Remembrance Day services and hands-on curriculum activities focused on the environment and history as well as supplementary projects to extend, enhance, and maintain the garden.|

|WHY:||This planting is the first of a series of projects from the VRCTP and SCTP specifically designed for schools to engage students and staff in the enhancement of the school’s environment, and serve as lasting reminder of the service of Canada’s Veterans and celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday.|
Hillcrest students and staff will follow the Trees for 3 Dots Method™ from the nationally recognized, award winning approach and methodology of the Veterans Memorial Parkway Community Program. T43D projects provide an opportunity for broad based community engagement in cost-effective tree planting to enhance the environment and leave an immediate, highly visible, and long lasting legacy.
The tree planting will be followed by brief announcements about the next phase for the VRCTP and SCTP. Photo opportunities will be available during opening remarks, the planting and closing remarks.
