Join Trees for 3 Dots Planting Inc. (T43D) for the ribbon cutting ceremony of the model site of the Vimy Ridge Commemorative Tree Planting program (VRCTP) at the 427 (London) Wing Royal Canadian Air Force Association in London, Ontario.

WHO: This 100-tree “Living Guard of Honour” is supported by the 427 (London) Wing Royal Canadian Air Force Association and London International Airport.

WHAT: The event will include the ribbon cutting ceremony, brief announcements about the next phase for the VRCTP, launch of Dr. Joan Clayton’s book, and the presentation of a WWI RFC uniform worn by Cam Cunningham’s grandfather.
WHEN: Saturday, June 25, 2016
2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
WHERE: 427 (London) Wing Royal Canadian Air Force Association, 2155 Crumlin Side Rd, London Ontario N5V 3Z9 – North end of Crumlin Road across from London Airport
WHY: This living tribute is the first of a series of projects from the VRCTP designed to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge, and will serve as lasting reminder of the service of Canada’s Veterans. Specifically, it acknowledges the 5 squadrons of the Royal Flying Corps and 1 squadron of the Royal Naval Air Service who supported the Canadian Corps in the Battle of Vimy Ridge.
